The Industrial Agents Society does not share any of the data collected with 3rd parties. Other members have access to the database and the data is used for business networking and opportunities specifically within the Industrial Property sector. The Industrial Agents Society uses the data to communicate directly with its members on society news, events and industrial sector research.

STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

The storage of personal data is held within a Contact Management System (CMS) that can be accessed by the society’s administrator and website developers. This is important so the website can be maintained, fixed if broken and updated to ensure members receive a fully operational website. Access by the administrator and developers is password protected - each having their own password. Computers used to access the CMS are in lockdown mode to avoid third party views.

HOW LONG WE KEEP DATA FOR

The Industrial Agents Society holds personal data as long as the individual is a fully paid up member of the society. The subscription is on an annual basis and if the member does not pay the renewal fee 1 month after their renewal date, their data is hard deleted from the system and would no longer appear in the database.
