Last Thursday, 107 riders took part in the fifth annual SEGRO IAS Cycle Challenge. This year saw a new starting point in Beaconsfield Rugby Club and with mother nature being extremely kind again we were all treated to a very picturesque cycle through the Chilterns.

As always both the 75 and 40 mile routes were extremely challenging with riders climbing 4,500 feet over the course of the day. There were some gruelling hills as always with Great Hampden and Wendover deserving of special mention. We also managed to take in the sites and tip our helmets as we road past Checkers!!

We then returned to the Rugby Club where we were welcomed back to a lovely BBQ in the sun. Although this is not a race!! the two winning times in the respective distances are as follows

70 miles - William Poole (LXB Property) Time 4.07.55

40 miles - Ged Parry (Segro) Time 2.31.32

Thank you everyone for taking part and helping raise money for our two very deserving charities. The amounts have not yet been fully reconciled but each charity will receive around £3,000
