An IAS Women in Industrial Property networking drinks reception took place on Wednesday 6th February, which was very kindly hosted by Gerald Eve at their Welbeck Street office in London.
A total of 60 people attended with a good mix of representatives from investors, developers, agencies and consultants. As well as enjoying drinks, canapes and networking, the attendees also engaged in some future gazing. With it being the first IAS event of the year, we asked the room for their thoughts on expectations for the industrial property market dynamics in 2019 including rental growth and yields, the likelihood of Brexit or not! and even the UK’s placing at the upcoming festival of pop-tastic song, Eurovision!
The consensus expectations have been recorded and sealed and will be carefully guarded until next year’s Spring drinks when we’ll see how close the room was to the 2019 outturn.
Thank you to everyone who attended and a huge thank you to Gerald Eve for hosting and supporting the IAS Women in Industrial Property. Plans are underway for more events, including the second IAS Women in Industrial Property Conference on Wednesday 5th June which will take place at The British Museum. Please hold the date and watch this space for more news and events announcements.
