The 2018 IAS Awards luncheon and took place on Thursday 27th September and were held for the fourth time at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square. The event was a huge success, with a record attendance of 554 guests.  A huge thank you goes out to all who supported the event and many congratulations to all the Award winners.

This year the IAS is proud to be supporting The Faraway Children’s Charity in memory of James Swallow and the Henry Angell James Memorial Trust. Both charities will receive a donation from the proceeds generated by the event and money donated to the Trust will go towards the installation of a number of defibrillators across midlands train stations.

Many thanks also to all the sponsors for their generosity who, without them the event could not be staged.

The Awards is one of the most important events in the IAS calendar and are staged to showcase the best of our sector, by providing examples of not only profitable deal making but also to show where solutions can be found in often challenging circumstances.

IAS Chairman, Ben Wiley, opened the Awards with a welcome speech and then handed over to comedian and writer, Simon Evans, who hosted the Awards ceremony and kept the audience highly entertained throughout the event.

Thanks also go to this year’s judges, Phil Sutton, Ekaterina Avdonina, Maurice Dalton, Tim Crighton and Colin Beasley for their time and expertise.

It was fantastic to see so many people at this year’s event. Preparations for the IAS Awards 2019 are already underway and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again next year on Thursday 26th September.
