This allows agency members to send requirements via the website, a major benefit of which is that you will receive no out of office responses. In addition agency members will be able to select the regions where you are active and you will receive requirements in regions outside where you are based. Conversely you may receive more requirements, which do not apply to you but this has been a delicate balancing act in which to tread. We have listened to many agents who would rather receive requirements that do not apply to them, rather than missing out on those that would. Sending a requirement - when sending a requirement you will have the option to include the location that you are targeting and for it to be included on the email circulated to the relevant agents. For 'Send to Region' you will include those regions you would like your requirement to be sent.
This is a new section of the website allowing agency members to place their own disposals on the website. You will be able to upload a photograph and again select regions to send the information to. You will be sent an email after 3 months reminding you to update the status of the disposal and after 6 months the disposal will be automatically deleted from the system.
Previous Requirements and Disposals Section
The website logs all the requirements posted on the site, allowing agency members to search by date, agent, location and size. These will be listed in chronological order and should be a useful tool for marketing meetings and analysis where required.
The news section incorporates reviews of past IAS events as well as topical stories from within the industry. Please contact the IAS with relevant IAS and sector-relevant stories. News stories will be sent to all members from time to time via Mail Chimp
The events section shows up and coming national and regional events and will be notified to all members via Mail Chimp so everyone is aware and kept up to date.
The research section will incorporate an array of different sector-specific research documents and articles, be they national or regional industrial features, or sub-sector research. We would urge you to send the IAS any relevant research or documents that you would consider relevant for the benefit of others.
This can be downloaded at any time from your membership area. It is advisable to download this list every time you wish to use it, and not to use ones that have been previously saved to your system. The database changes regularly.
Your membership section is password controlled allowing visibility of your details to other members only. Your account includes the ability to incorporate a photo of yourself, as well as links to your Linked In and Twitter accounts. Your account will have the ability to indicate the regions where you are active so that you can benefit from agents requirements posted in that area.
Payment of Subs
Invoices for renewals are not sent out. Payment for subs will only be accepted via a credit or debit card via the website. Cheques will no longer be accepted. You can also now choose to automatically renew, which will make it easier at renewal time. You can pay for multiple renewals for colleagues from the same organization by selecting “multiple renewals” in your profile. You will receive an email receipt, which can be used to recharge the amount from your organisation - where applicable.
Reminders will be sent automatically: one month before expiry, one week before and on the day of expiry. Two weeks after your renewal date and payment has not been received, your account will be placed in a suspended section of the site and you will not be able to access your profile and be able to enjoy the benefits of being a member. Your account will remain in the suspended section for two months during which time you can ask for your membership to be re-instated at which time payment is immediately required. Two months after your renewal date and no payment has been made, members will be hard deleted from the database with no chance of recovery and all of your historic agents requirements will be wiped from the system.
The purpose of the Suppliers List is to include organisations from marketing companies, board contractors and event organisers in order for it to become a full list of supporting organisations to our sector. It is not an exhaustive list and I would ask all members to recommend providers in order that others can benefit. Please inform us via the contact us page.
